Fake Virus Phone Scam from India

This is an example of a current scam originating out of India, where someone posing as a technician from Microsoft calls, claiming your computer has been flagged as being infected. They make you believe they are calling to guide you through fixing the “infections” on your computer. In reality, they want remote access to your computer to steal information, plant malicious software and charge you for their supposed services. This is one way you can get back at them and have a little fun in the process. Enjoy!
